Job summary

PDP, a respected environmental and engineering consultancy, invites an experienced Senior Water Engineer to join our Tauranga team. You will deliver technically challenging water, wastewater or stormwater projects, mentor junior engineers, and build lasting client relationships while balancing work and life.

Based in Tauranga, you will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to projects across New Zealand, with opportunities for growth, professional development and flexible

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Environmental or Natural Resources Engineering required.
• CPEng or equivalent professional registration preferred or being pursued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver water, wastewater or stormwater projects from design through construction.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the Tauranga team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Water Engineer to join our growing Tauranga team. This is an opportunity to deliver on technically challenging projects, mentor developing engineers, build strong client relationships, and continue advancing your own career - all while enjoying the flexibility to balance work and life.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years' experience in water, wastewater or stormwater engineering
• A degree in Civil, Environmental or Natural Resources Engineering
• Strong technical capability across water infrastructure design and project delivery
• Experience delivering projects from investigation and design through to construction
• Contract management and client relationship experience
• A collaborative approach with a passion for mentoring others
• CPEng (or equivalent), or working towards professional registration
