Job summary

Kirimana is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor in Auckland to oversee electrical installations and maintenance for industrial and commercial projects. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and efficient operation of electrical systems with strong project oversight.

Responsibilities include leading maintenance, managing variations, liaising with clients, planning workforce for out-of-hours work, and ensuring QA documentation is completed.

Qualifications

• Current EWRB Registered Electrician licence.
• Experience quoting work, ordering materials, and managing variations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical rules and regulations.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data and make recommendations.
• Experience with technical projects and maintenance teams.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including drug & alcohol testing.
• Strong communication skills and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all maintenance work is completed as per schedules
• Act as the first point of contact for technical issue escalation and fault resolution
• Ensuring variation work is only completed where required and following correct processes
• Liaise with clients regarding site requirements, constraints and issues
• Schedule, plan and allocate staff as required for out-of-normal hours work
• Inspect and complete all project quality assurance documentation as required
