Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Associate Electrical Engineer in New Zealand. You will lead electrical design across building services and major infrastructure, mentor engineers, and strengthen client relationships while supporting business growth across diverse sectors.

You will work within the Buildings and Places team, delivering projects from planning through construction, and contribute to growth of Jacobs across Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Defence and Transport sectors in New

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering consultancy experience.
• Experience delivering projects in Data Centres, Mission Critical, Health, Life Sciences, Defence or Transport.
• Strong technical design capability with project leadership.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and influence outcomes.
• Commercial awareness and experience supporting delivery and business development.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• NZ Electrical Engineering qualification and eligibility for professional registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across building services and major infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership from planning to construction support.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams to achieve client outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
