BNZ is seeking an experienced nCino Developer to help shape the future of our Banking platform. You will design and deliver high-quality, scalable nCino solutions within Salesforce and our connected ecosystem, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
You will join a supportive technology team focused on continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and delivering value to customers across NZ.
Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.
Here at BNZ, it's about more than just banking. We work together in an agile, energising environment to create innovative solutions through our promise \"If you can imagine a better future, let’s find a way.\"
We support wellbeing, flexible working and have a generous leave offering. There is the opportunity for growth, learning and career development. No two days are the same.
Join our Customer360 team and be at the heart of one of BNZ's most significant technology transformations. We're creating a connected colleague platform, leveraging Salesforce, nCino, and AI, that brings together customer conversations, lending journeys and workflows into a single experience that helps our colleagues better support customers at every stage of their banking journey.
We have an exciting opportunity for nCino Developers to join our team and help shape the future of one of BNZ's critical banking platforms.
This role offers the opportunity to apply your experience to deliver high quality, maintainable and scalable solutions as we continue to expand the platform capabilities and adoption. Depending on your experience and capability, we are open to considering candidates at either Intermediate or Senior Developer level.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Wellington or Auckland. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.
You'll join a highly collaborative and supportive technology team working across the nCino and Salesforce platforms. Our teams value continuous improvement, quality solutions and have a focus on colleague and customer outcomes. You'll work alongside experienced Engineers, Business Analysts and Testers who are passionate about solving meaningful problems and helping each other succeed.
This is an opportunity to work at enterprise scale on Salesforce and nCino platforms that support critical banking capabilities across BNZ. We've established the basics but there is still plenty ahead on the roadmap as we continuously improve Sales and Service and embed the Lending origination experience. Whether you're already an expert in nCino or looking to further develop your Salesforce development skills, you'll have opportunities to grow and make a meaningful impact.
The complexity and scale of the platform landscape mean that you'll often balance competing priorities, technical trade-offs, regulatory requirements, and evolving business needs. Success requires strong problem-solving skills, sound technical judgement, adaptability, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while continuing to deliver high-quality outcomes.
This is an opportunity for an engineer who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
You'll be naturally curious, adaptable, and outcome-driven, with the ability to simplify complex problems, context switch and work effectively across diverse teams. You'll be committed to continuous learning, open communication, and contributing positively to team culture.
For more experienced candidates, you'll also demonstrate technical leadership, mentoring capability, and the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
