Job summary

Tracksuit is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Auckland to amplify the value of our data and help measure and communicate brand insights. You will join a world-class data science team, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and market researchers to design novel data products that lift the baseline for marketing measurement.

You’ll work on experiments, build models, and shape the company’s data strategy in a fast‑growing startup across NZ/Australia, with hybrid work and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data science experience in relevant domains.
• Strong knowledge of statistics (frequentist and Bayesian).
• Experience with ML models and causal inference.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and R for data analysis.
• PhD preferred with research experience.

Responsibilities

• Design novel data products to lift marketing measurement.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and researchers.
• Prototype, evaluate and deploy models and experiments.
• Contribute new methods and peer‑reviewed knowledge to the team.
