Job summary

Foodstuffs in Auckland is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Master Data Management programme and drive data quality and governance across Foodies.

You will partner with Data Owners, Technology and stores to identify opportunities, implement controls and shape future ways of working as our MDM capability matures.

This newly created role offers the chance to own critical master data components and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in data analysis or similar.
• Experience with large datasets and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and technical capability, incl. Excel, SQL and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management, data governance, data ownership and process improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and analyse data, processes and systems to identify opportunities to improve data quality and governance.
• Lead data profiling and remediation planning across large datasets.
• Support development of data quality requirements and processes for master data accuracy.
• Partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Tech and business stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Develop and interpret data quality reporting, dashboards and metrics to support outcomes.
