You'll work at the intersection of data, science, and business, leading complex data analysis and stewardship activities while building strong partnerships with stakeholders. The Fisheries Data Management team is responsible for the stewardship, management, and accessibility of fisheries information that supports Fisheries New Zealand's regulatory, research, and operational functions. The team works closely with scientists, fisheries managers, researchers, and technology specialists to ensure trusted data is available for informed decision-making. Collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing are central to how the team works.
You will work alongside four other analysts, all based in Wellington.
