Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Senior Advisor - Compliance to lead national alcohol compliance workstreams aligned with the SSAA. You will provide specialist advice, assist with strategic planning, guidance and training for consistent regional delivery, and support regulatory practice across NPHS.

The role requires a relevant graduate qualification and 3–5 years in regulatory/compliance, plus experience with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Pacific communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate qualification in Law, Health, Public Administration or Compliance.
• Subject matter expertise in regulatory approaches and/or alcohol and Regulated Products legislation.
• 3–5 years in a regulator/compliance setting with leadership experience is desirable.
• Experience engaging with Pacific peoples and communities and working in Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on developing nationally consistent alcohol compliance processes.
• Lead planning, guidance and training to support regional delivery of SSAA compliance.
• Support regulatory practice, compliance planning and national consistency across NPHS.
