Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is seeking a Senior Community Physiotherapist to provide clinical leadership within an interdisciplinary team delivering restorative care in the community. You will engage with a diverse population and promote high standards of clinical practice across neurology, orthopaedics, older adults, and respiratory conditions.

You will support development of clinical capability, supervise junior staff, and contribute to service improvement.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current annual practicing certificate.
• 6+ years relevant experience post registration.
• Experience in hospital and community setting.
• Experience in clinical teaching and professional supervision.
• Solution focussed, team player with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for working in a person/whanau centred way to provide excellent care.
• Sound computer skills.
• Full, clean drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support the development of clinical capability within the locality and wider Northern Community Health Teams.
• Deliver restorative care across neurology, orthopaedics, older adults, musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to a diverse population.
• Support supervision of junior staff and contribute to service development.
