Brambles New Zealand Limited (CHEP) is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst - Supply Chain to join our NZ finance team and partner with the Supply Chain leadership. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the supply chain and provide actionable insights on productivity and costs.

You will build financial models for strategic investments, lead cross-functional collaboration, and shape financial leadership across a complex network.

Formación

• CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualification is required.
• Strong commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering background.
• Experience supporting operational leaders in a complex environment.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Power BI and SAP/BW in a finance context.
• Experience analysing cost drivers in labor, transport and productivity.

Job Description Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Lead comprehensive financial analysis, including profitability reviews, variance analysis, and financial modelling, to support business decisions and optimize performance.
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., supply chain, commercial, sales) to provide actionable insights that enhance financial decision-making and operational outcomes.
• Provide analytical support for business case development, cost analysis, and evaluation of strategic initiatives to ensure informed decision-making.
• Drive process improvements by supporting the implementation and optimization of financial tools, automation efforts, and standardized processes.
• Perform post-investment reviews to assess the performance of strategic initiatives and recommend corrective actions where needed.
• support efforts to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial data quality, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of financial information.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects, including pricing strategies, cost savings initiatives, and performance tracking, to drive business improvements.

As the Senior Commercial Analyst - Supply Chain, you'll be the primary Finance Business Partner to our Supply Chain function, working with the New Zealand Supply Chain Leadership Team and helping shape key operational and strategic decisions. Acting as the link between Finance and Operations, you'll provide commercial insight and financial leadership across a complex supply chain environment.

About the role This role directly influences how our supply chain performs today and how it evolves for the future. We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives at the intersection of finance and operations.

Key responsibilities include:

About you You'll be an experienced commercial finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and influencing business outcomes.

• Essential experience CA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
• Strong commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering background
• Experience supporting operational leaders in a complex environment
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability skills
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
• Highly desirable Supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or operations finance experience
• Experience supporting capital projects and investment decisions
• Exposure to Power BI & SAP and BW
• Experience analysing operational cost drivers such as labour, transport and productivity
