Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Operations Engineer in Auckland. You will operate, support and optimise production Azure environments across compute, storage, networking, identity and PaaS services.

The role focuses on automation with PowerShell/Azure CLI, Terraform/Bicep, and Azure DevOps, while maintaining security and governance. You will drive incident resolution, participate in on-call, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions for public sector

Qualifications

• AZ-104-level, hands-on experience operating enterprise Azure environments in production.
• Entra ID, RBAC and access management knowledge.
• Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Azure DevOps, Git experience.
• PowerShell and Azure CLI scripting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate, support and troubleshoot production Azure environments across compute, storage, networking, identity and PaaS services.
• Execute service requests and changes within defined scope and SLAs, incl. Front Door/Gateway, RBAC/PIM updates.
• Manage SSL/TLS certs, domains and certificate lifecycles using Key Vault.
• Manage app registrations, service principals and secret expiry; automate rotations.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex incidents and drive resolution.
