PwC New Zealand in Wellington is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Assurance team. You will deliver external audits for a diverse client portfolio, from planning through final review, while maintaining high-quality engagement standards and client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience delivering external audit engagements.
• Qualified or actively working towards a recognized accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/ICAEW).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or closely related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver external audits for a diverse client portfolio from planning to final review.
• Coach, supervise, and review work of junior team members.
• Engage with clients to understand business needs and ensure policy compliance.
• Leverage PwC audit methodologies and standards to deliver high-quality work.
• Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.
