HTS Transport Limited in Auckland is hiring three Transport Specialists to join our growing team. You will transport general freight, cartage, storage goods and other loads between designated locations, customer sites and warehouses across the Auckland region.

This permanent full-time role requires at least two years driving experience and a valid NZ truck driver licence. Applicants must be punctual, physically fit, and able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in driving is required.
• Hold a valid New Zealand truck driver licence, or an equivalent overseas licence eligible for conversion.
• Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role.
• Be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting.
• A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress.
• Able to work with deadlines and schedules, and available to work weekends if required.
• Health and safety considerations: pass pre-employment medical and drug tests, and have no convictions.

Responsibilities

• Transport general freight, cartage, storage goods and other loads between designated locations, customer sites and warehouses.
• Follow all lawful and reasonable instructions issued by senior management or the Director.
• Manoeuvre vehicles safely into the correct position for loading and unloading.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and professionally using appropriate lifting, tipping and handling equipment.
• Check loading and delivery documents, inspect the condition and quantity of goods, obtain proof of delivery, and complete all required transport records accurately.
• Maintain clear, accurate and timely communication with customers, colleagues, management and other relevant parties.
