Job summary

Planit - An NRI Company seeks an automation engineer who can deliver working automation in real delivery teams and grow consulting craft with AI-assisted approaches. You’ll craft sustainable automated tests across API, UI, and data layers, while integrating into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with client teams.

You will contribute to or reuse automation frameworks, bring cloud experience, and engage with stakeholders to reduce risk and improve quality across complex SaaS platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with open-source test automation and modern tooling.
• Experience designing and integrating automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid experience building automation frameworks beyond using tools.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS or web-based platforms.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Quality engineering mindset focused on risk, observability and maintainability.
• Interest in AI-assisted testing with a responsible approach.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sustainable automated tests and artifacts across API, services, UI and data layers.
• Engineer automation that fits modern delivery: CI/CD pipelines and fast feedback.
• Apply AI to enhance test design, analysis, maintenance and orchestration.
• Contribute to or leverage frameworks, starter kits, accelerators and patterns.
• Collaborate with client-site teams to improve confidence and release safety.
• Engage with Planit's automation practice to learn and help others grow.
