MBIE in Wellington CBD is seeking a Principal Advisor Data & Information (Data Sharing) to lead complex data sharing arrangements across government. You will influence governance, privacy and operations, and turn challenges into practical solutions while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

You'll drive national data sharing initiatives, coach colleagues, and shape MBIE's approach to data governance, data sharing practice, and capability growth across the organisation,

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience developing data sharing arrangements between domestic and international agencies.
• Experience leading consultations with senior leaders and privacy offices.
• Proven ability to establish relationships and build trust with senior stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to challenge established thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to tailor complex information.
• Experience coaching and capability development across teams.
• Up-to-date with data sharing principles, legislation and trends.
• Must have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
• Knowledge of Immigration NZ and MBIE functions.
