Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa in Wellington is seeking a Senior Adviser Addiction Contracts to join the Pae Ora team. The role focuses on ensuring contracted addiction services meet expectations and support positive outcomes for people in our care.

The successful candidate will monitor performance, manage provider relationships, analyse reports, and provide timely advice for informed decision-making, with a hybrid work arrangement including up to two days from home weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or administering contracts within a government, health, social services, or related environment.
• Strong financial administration skills, including invoice management, purchase orders, budgeting, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor provider performance and contractual compliance against outcomes.
• Review and analyse monthly provider reports to identify trends and risks.
• Escalate issues and manage contract administration activities, including drafting contracts and variations.
• Coordinate quarterly provider meetings and maintain relationships with providers.
• Manage invoice approvals, purchase orders, budgeting and other contract-related financial processes.
• Prepare quarterly and ad hoc reports on contract performance and service delivery.
• Support procurement and commissioning activities as required.
