Job summary

Humankind Global Recruitment is seeking a curious SOC Analyst to join a Digital global security team in Auckland. You will monitor and investigate security alerts, analyze threats and support incident response to contain and remediate breaches.

Using SIEM, EDR/XDR and network traffic analysis, you will help improve detection rules and share knowledge across the team. Expect a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern and ongoing opportunities to deepen cyber defense skills.

Qualifications

• Essential SOC or security operations experience.
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR and cybersecurity technologies.
• Strong TCP/IP networking and traffic analysis.
• Experience across multiple OS and system hardening.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with a passion for cyber defence.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for cyber defence.

Stand out with:

Experience with SOAR, WAF, NDR, Python, PowerShell or certifications such as BTL1 or GCIA.
