Job summary

Balle Bros Growers Limited is seeking enthusiastic overseas workers with a valid New Zealand work visa to join our team for the upcoming onion harvest season from November 2026 to end of March 2027. We offer a range of seasonal positions including experienced machinery operators and general farm roles.

Qualifications

• Previous horticulture experience (preferred but not essential).
• A minimum of 4 months' tractor operating experience.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work flexible workdays and hours.
• A good level of physical fitness.
• A current New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence or international license.

Responsibilities

• Harvesting, irrigation, cultivation work and general farm operations.
• Operate bin trailers where required.
• Weekend and public holiday work may be required during peak season.
• Flexible work hours and shifts to meet seasonal needs.
