Job summary

Bethlehem College invites applications for a passionate teacher to join the Secondary Science Department. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the New Zealand curriculum and NZQA framework and be willing to participate in religious instruction in line with the school’s Christian character.

Employment is contingent on NZ Teacher Registration, and the position commences 28th January 2027.

Qualifications

• Must have thorough understanding of the New Zealand curriculum and the NZQA framework.
• Active personal Christian faith and willingness to take part in religious instruction appropriate to Bethlehem College’s special character.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Secondary Science Department.
• Contribute to the development of science teaching and learning.
• Meet regulatory requirements and participate in school religious instruction as required.
