Job summary

Pakūranga College in Auckland seeks a Certificated teacher to lead Science across junior and senior levels, including Year 11 and NCEA-related subjects. You will contribute to a high-performing Science Faculty, inspiring diverse learners and engaging with digital learning tools.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum in Science.
• Ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learners.

• Willingness to engage with our digital learning environment and to contribute to the active co-curricular life of the school.
• Previous experience teaching NCEA Level 2 and Level 3 Biology or Physics is advantageous.

Science

Pakūranga College is a large (2,300+ students), coeducational, culturally diverse secondary school located in Pakuranga, East Auckland.

We are seeking a passionate teacher of Science to join our high performing and well-established Science Faculty.

Pakūranga College has an extensive Science programme. The successful candidate will teach junior Science, Year 11 Science and a senior specialist Science subject. Previous experiences teaching NCEA Level 2 and Level 3 Biology or Physics would be an advantage.
