Job summary

Spectrum Care in South Auckland is seeking a Community Support Worker for our School Holiday Programme. You will lead a small team, create a safe, inclusive space and help children with disabilities participate in a structured holidays curriculum.

This fixed-term, two-week role involves hands-on supervision, administration and resource management. A NZ driver's license and ability to pass police and Oranga Tamariki checks are required, and we support you to pursue a Level Three qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a holiday programme.
• Ability to facilitate a structured curriculum with a focus on personal outcomes.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Willing to pass NZ police check and Oranga Tamariki check.
• Interest in attaining a Community Support Worker Level Three or above qualification with employer support.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to create and maintain a safe, engaging space for children with disabilities.
• Coordinate activities and handle administration, resource management.
• Coach and lead your team to deliver the programme.
