About the opportunity

Due to continued growth and success, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our New Zealand Sales Team as a Sales Representative (internal job title: Product Specialist), focusing on our emerging Home Respiratory and our Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) product portfolio.

This is a dynamic role that involves working closely with both inpatient and outpatient respiratory and sleep clinicians to promote the utilisation of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s innovative sleep technology and growing home humidified high-flow therapies.

You’ll be instrumental in driving market development, recognising growth opportunities, educating stakeholders, and ultimately improving patient outcomes through innovative therapy solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with sleep and respiratory specialists, sleep labs, and homecare dealers to promote the FPH brand and therapy solutions.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to discuss current market state, future potential and devise a plan to execute on opportunities.
  • Educate clinicians and customers on the benefits of FPH products and therapy approaches to create demand and change clinical practice.
  • Negotiate agreements with homecare dealers to ensure FPH products are stocked and promoted effectively.
  • Support marketing activities and user groups to raise awareness and adoption of our sleep and home therapy solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal product usage and customer satisfaction.

This role is based at our Global Head Office in East Tamaki but covers a territory that requires significant national travel.

  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment, comfortable seeking guidance or assistance when faced with challenges.
