Job summary

Energizer Holdings is seeking a reliable part-time merchandiser to ensure displays are well stocked and in prime locations across stores in New Zealand. You will work flexible hours, including some early starts, and collaborate with store managers and sales colleagues to drive profitability.

The role requires a full NZ driving license (preferred) and a proactive, people-oriented approach to planograms, stock rotation and in-store promotions.

Qualifications

• Permanent part-time role with at least 20 hours per week.
• Flexibility for early morning starts and peak-season extra hours.
• Owning a valid NZ driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain off-location displays and fixtures per planograms and instructions.
• Pre-sell promotions and negotiate prime off-location positions in-store.
• Achieve full compliance for assigned tasks and activities.
• Maintain call cycles as agreed with the Manager.
• Check stock rotation in fixtures and store reserves.
• Move stock from reserves to main and off-location fixtures.
• Order out-of-stock lines and additional promotional stock.
• Keep point-of-sale materials up to date in-store.
• Ensure planogram compliance and core range distribution.
• Action all out-of-stocks promptly and perform stock-Integrity checks.
• Ensure pricing tickets are in place.
• Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.
• Communicate workplace hazards to direct manager; follow OH&S policies.
• Adhere to Energizer policies and report breaches promptly.

Position Summary

This is a key role within our business - and one of the many opportunities to lead by example. You'll be ensuring that displays are well stocked and in prime locations within stores, and therefore you'll have a direct impact on our profitability and growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible working hours and the challenges of FMCG merchandising.

You'll need to be a 'people-person' as you will work closely with a variety of people - everyone from the internal Sales Colleagues through to a range of store managers.

Responsibilities

Maintains off-location displays (OLDs) and fixtures as per planograms (POGs) and instructions.

Pre-sells promotions, including ordering of stock and negotiating prime off-location positions in store.

Achieve full compliance for all assigned tasks/activities

Maintains assigned call cycles as agreed with their Manager.

Checks rotation of stock in fixtures and store reserves.

Fills stock from reserves to main fixture and off locations.

Ensures ordering of out-of-stock lines and additional promotional stock.

Ensures up-to-date point of sale is placed in store.

Ensures planogram compliance and core range is in distribution.

Ensures all out of stocks are immediately actioned and a stock integrity check is performed.

Ensures all pricing tickets are in place.

Adheres to Company Policies and Procedures.

Responsible for communicating identified workplace hazards to their direct manager / supervisor; performing their job requirements in accordance with EAPL Occupation Health & Safety Policy and respective state WorkCover Guidelines.

Responsible for personally adhering to all Energizer Policies and procedure sand / or notifying your direct manager / supervisor if a breach is witnessed.

What We Are Looking For

This is a permanent part-time position, with a minimum of 20-hours of work per week. One has to be comfortable performing some early morning starts and extra hours during season peak time, when required. Owning a valid full NZ driving license is preferred for the position.
