Job summary

Lightforce Limited in Hamilton seeks a Solar Trade Assistant to join our installation teams. In this role, you will assist in installing solar panels and ensure each project is completed safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or roofing, good physical fitness, and strong attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven company focused on creating real environmental impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, roofing or a related trade.
• Basic knowledge of solar installation is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of solar panels and mounting systems.
• Transport and prepare tools and materials for installations.
• Support stocktaking and warehouse organisation as needed.
• Complete installation documentation and safety records.
• Follow all safety protocols and use PPE correctly.
