We are recruiting for 2x Programme Assistant to work across our sites around Riverhead & to also help out our other sites close to Riverhead. Successful applicant will need to have access to a vehicle as this role would require someone who could work around sites easily. At sKids, we believe childhood should be full of laughter, learning, and adventure! Since 1996, we’ve been creating awesome out-of-school experiences for Tamariki across New Zealand. Today, we welcome more than 3,800 kids every day at over 170 school sites – and we’re still growing!

Job Description

As a Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 7-9 hours per week, rostered during our Stay and Play/After school session between 2.30pm - 6pm (Monday - Friday) with potential school holiday programme hours available.

  • Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities
  • Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children
  • Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing
  • Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported
