Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Pavement Construction Operator in Central Otago. You will operate civil construction machinery, support pavement projects, and join experienced crews delivering essential infrastructure.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role working across multiple project sites, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. You will complete daily machine inspections, work to plans and quality standards, and contribute to a positive site culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating construction and earthmoving machinery in civil construction.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental practices.
• Ability to follow plans, instructions and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of civil construction plant and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Deliver pavement construction and rehabilitation works across roading projects.
• Complete daily inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors, drivers and crews to achieve project objectives.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental and quality requirements on site.
