Job summary

Planet Group of Companies is seeking a Risk Coordinator for a 6-month contract to oversee risk assessment activities across CQV phases. You will partner with commissioning, construction and turnover teams to promote safety and regulatory compliance, reviewing RAMS and implementing CoW governance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in EHS or pharmaceutical projects, expertise in process safety, RAMS, PTW/LOTO, and strong communication to lead safety initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • Strong background in Environmental, Health & Safety management.
  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant EHS, risk management or pharmaceutical project experience.
  • Experience facilitating risk assessments and reviewing RAMS documentation.
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work systems, Control of Work governance and LOTO processes.
  • Experience working within GMP regulated environments.

  • Coordinating and facilitating project risk assessments and RAMS reviews.
  • Supporting low and medium risk assessments and providing guidance on higher risk activities.
  • Reviewing method statements, safe systems of work and permit documentation.
  • Supporting Control of Work activities, including PTW and LOTO processes.
  • Providing expert advice on hazard identification, risk mitigation and process safety.
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary project teams to ensure safe execution of commissioning and qualification activities.
  • Promoting EHS best practice and continuous improvement across the project.

Job Description

Contract l 6 months l full-time We are supporting a major pharmaceutical project and are seeking an experienced Risk Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring safe project delivery during commissioning, qualification and start up activities.

This position is ideal for an EHS professional with a strong background in risk assessment, process safety and control of work within highly regulated pharmaceutical environments.

The Role

You will act as the focal point for risk assessment activities across multiple workstreams, supporting project teams in identifying, assessing and mitigating operational and safety risks. You will work closely with commissioning, construction and turnover teams to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Coordinating and facilitating project risk assessments and RAMS reviews.
  • Supporting low and medium risk assessments and providing guidance on higher risk activities.
  • Reviewing method statements, safe systems of work and permit documentation.
  • Supporting Control of Work activities, including PTW and LOTO processes.

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant EHS, risk management or pharmaceutical project experience.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical projects during CQV, commissioning, validation or start up phases.
  • Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management and risk reduction methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating risk assessments and reviewing RAMS documentation.
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work systems, Control of Work governance and LOTO processes.Experience working within GMP regulated environments.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety leadership.

  • Strong background in Environmental, Health & Safety management.
