Job summary

Synergy Hair welcomes a full-time Retail Sales Coordinator / Receptionist to join our salon and retail environment. You will greet customers, merchandise our retail area and promote Salon Professional Hair Care products while supporting our hairdressing team.

As part of a busy team across 15 NZ salons and our online store, you will handle stock and orders, meet sales targets and ensure every client experiences top-notch service in-store or when purchasing hair products and accessories.

Qualifications

• Experience in hair/beauty retail or related retail sectors.
• Well-presented and groomed with initiative.
• Ability to support the hairdressing team and deliver great retail customer service.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and look after customers in salon and retail environment.
• Merchandise retail area and assist with stock and orders.
• Work towards sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
• Coordinate salon operations and act as first point of contact.
• Support Salon Manager and team with showroom and online store needs.

Synergy Hair – Bayfair Shopping Centre requires a full-time Retail Sales Coordinator / Receptionist to join & support our team in a Salon & Retail Environment.

We require someone with a great personality to meet, greet and look after our customers, merchandise our retail area and sell Salon Professional Har Care products.

Want to be involved with the Hair Industry –This involves the selling of salon professional retail products and salon reception duties.

You have to have interest or experience in ‘HAIR / BEAUTY RETAIL, or PHARMACY RETAIL– DEPARTMENT STORE RETAIL – then this is for you.

To be considered for this position, you must be very well presented & personally groomed, show maturity, show initiative, be very reliable, have a good understanding of salon only professional hair care products, know how to support our hairdressing team, & provide amazing retail customer service.

The position is exciting, fun, challenging & enjoys much client & customer interaction. You will be a part of a busy & fun team, stock & orders, merchandising, salon coordination, sales targets and ensuring all customers and clients receive the best experience in our salon or purchasing Hairdressing Products/Accessories. We provide training in all systems and products from our key suppliers.

You will be trained, supported and guided by your Salon Manager & Team to develop into a front line professional ‘First Point of Contact’

The Position Available is - Full-Time Position Tuesday to Saturday

There are further hours available subject to promotions, school holidays and covering staff etc. Great Pay $ and staff purchasing.

Synergy Hair is a small salon group with 15 salons throughout NZ & a large online store - so you won’t be lost and will appreciate it.

We don’t want to be the biggest – just good at what we do.
