Woolworths Group in New Zealand is hiring for a hands-on checkout team member to deliver fast, friendly service at the till. You will scan and pack orders accurately, keep wait times low, and handle refunds courteously while upholding store standards.

You'll contribute to a positive customer experience through effective communication, proactive problem solving, and collaboration with your fellow team members in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Efficient Checkout Service: Accurately scan and pack orders, minimise wait times, and handle refunds courteously.
• Engage and Resolve Customer Needs: Create positive customer interactions, respond to queries, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support Cash Management: Assist with cash office activities including banking, reconciliations, and investigating variances.
• Maintain Store Standards & Safety: Ensure store areas are clean, organised, uphold uniform standards, and prioritise safety protocols.
• Contribute to Service Improvement: Provide feedback and ideas to enhance the overall customer experience.
