Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Sports Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a data analyst or sports analyst with a strong project portfolio.
• Proficiency in Python or R and in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to player performance and game statistics.
• Develop statistical models and ML algorithms to identify KPIs and trends.
• Generate reports and visualizations that communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with coaching staff to provide data-driven strategy and player development recommendations.
• Stay current with advancements in sports analytics and data science techniques.
• Contribute to the development of proprietary analytical tools and dashboards.
