Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Oncology Clinical Researcher to shape AI training with rigor from real-world oncology trials. You will design protocols, assess safety and endpoints, and ensure regulatory alignment during iterative AI development.

You’ll work remotely on a flexible schedule, 10–40 hours per week, contributing to high-stakes cancer research initiatives and collaborating with leading AI and clinical teams worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and managing oncology clinical trials from protocol development through data readout.
  • Strong background in analyzing clinical oncology data including endpoints and biomarkers.
  • Familiarity with regulatory submission standards (FDA/EMA).
  • Detail-oriented with rigorous standards for AI outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evaluate oncology clinical trial protocols — bringing your expertise in patient enrollment, regulatory compliance, and study design to AI training workflows
  • Analyze cancer trial data including safety profiles, efficacy endpoints, and biomarker results to assess treatment performance and clinical relevance
  • Translate trial outcomes into clear regulatory and scientific frameworks aligned with FDA/EMA submission standards
  • Review and critique AI-generated clinical insights for accuracy, scientific validity, and regulatory alignment
  • Help ensure that AI systems reasoning about oncology data reflect real-world clinical and regulatory standards
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
