Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MR studies, on-site and/or remote, while ensuring patient safety and clear communication with radiologists and staff.

Responsibilities include pre-screening, producing diagnostic images, staff training, and occasional travel to multiple locations. Relevant ARRT/ARMRIT certifications and CPR are required, with state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT.
• State license, if applicable.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Patient Safety and pre-screening for contraindications.
• Produces high quality diagnostic MR images; operates multiple MR systems.
• Communicates with Radiologists, patients, and team members.
• Trains/orients new technologists and support staff on site or remotely.
• Other duties as assigned.
