Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Health Policy & Management AI Trainer to apply MPH-level expertise to public health challenges in AI systems. This remote, hourly contract role offers flexible hours, 10–40 per week, and the chance to influence how millions access health information.

You will design complex health scenarios, author ground-truth solutions grounded in CDC/WHO guidance, audit AI outputs for accuracy and bias, and help AI distinguish correlation from causation for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Masters in Public Health (MPH), MSPH, or closely related graduate degree.
• Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy.
• Skilled at translating complex health data into clear, actionable, and culturally sensitive written communication.
• Detail-oriented when reviewing statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventions.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on an asynchronous schedule.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create challenging, real-world problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and interpretation of clinical trial data to rigorously test AI reasoning
• Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and others)
• Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, logical consistency, and adherence to ethical standards — catching misinformation before it spreads
• Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk appropriately, and serve diverse populations equitably
