Pearson Carter are hiring a Business Analyst / QA Engineer in New Zealand for a remote-friendly, full-time role. You will bridge business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring features are clearly defined, thoroughly tested, and delivered to a high standard.

The role combines requirements analysis, process documentation, manual testing, API testing, and QA within an Agile product and engineering team, offering a collaborative environment and meaningful impact in a growing technology

Formación

• Experience in business analysis and software testing.
• Strong manual testing across web and mobile.
• REST API testing experience.
• Excellent requirements and technical documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process flows, BPDs, and workflow documentation.
• Design and execute test plans across web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Test REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Manage defects from discovery through to resolution.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams.
