Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Contract Specialist to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will draft, review, and tailor MSAs, lease, IP licensing, marketing, and licensing agreements to reflect current standards and practical business needs.

You'll contribute to AI-training datasets with high-quality documents while communicating requirements clearly and delivering work autonomously in a distributed, tech-savvy environment.

Qualifications

• Practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney with contract drafting and negotiation experience.
• Knowledge of MSAs, lease agreements, IP and marketing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and provide templates and samples of MSAs, leases, IP licensing, marketing, and licensing agreements.
• Ensure agreements reflect current legal standards and best practices.
• Submit well-structured documents contributing to AI training datasets.
• Communicate requirements and deliverables clearly, in writing and verbally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney with exposure to contract drafting and negotiation.
• Working knowledge of standard commercial agreements, including MSAs, lease agreements, IP and marketing contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and accuracy in contractual language.
• Demonstrated ability to create or adapt legal documents for practical, real-world scenarios.
• Experience with remote collaboration and delivering assignments autonomously.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure agreements comply with relevant laws and best practices.
• Interest or background in legal operations, technology, or AI-enabled platforms is a plus.
