Job summary

JobSpace in Port Lincoln, SA is seeking an experienced boilermaker for a genuine fabrication role. You will work across trailers, tippers, road-train dollies, and insurance repairs in a well-regarded transport engineering workshop.

The position offers 50–55 AUD/hr with 12% super, and relocation support including flights, temporary accommodation, and a vehicle. The role requires independence, problem-solving, and commitment to long-term relocation to the coastal community.

Qualifications

• Recognised trade qualification in Boilermaking.
• Fabrication ability to think through and execute work independently.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Forklift ticket.
• Welding experience with steel and aluminium.
• Problem-solving mindset for repair jobs.
• Willingness to relocate to Port Lincoln long term.
• Attitude, commitment and effort prioritized over technical skill.
• Comfortable working for a hands-on boss in a small workshop.
• Genuinely committed to relocating and investing in the community.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling trailers, tippers, road-train dollies, and custom components.
• Carrying out heavy vehicle modifications, repairs, and insurance work.
• Working through complex repair jobs independently, testing multiple approaches.
• Welding across steel and aluminium to a high standard.
• Working with apprentices and supporting their development.
• Maintaining quality of finish and output across workshop work.
