Job summary

BestStart Taupō is seeking a Reliever Teacher to support our centres with adaptability and warmth. You will join a welcoming team and step into busy classrooms, bringing energy, initiative and a child-centered approach to learning and wellbeing.

We value flexible shifts, professional growth and opportunities to progress into permanent roles within BestStart Taupō centres and nearby locations.

Qualifications

• NZ ECE or Primary teaching qualification (BEd / Grad Dip – Level 7 or higher).
• Current NZ Teacher Registration (Provisional or Full).
• NZQA endorsement (if applicable) confirming Level 7 or higher.
• Valid work eligibility in New Zealand.
• References – current and most recent managers.

Responsibilities

• Step confidently into BestStart Taupō centres and nearby centres as required.
• Use your initiative to contribute positively to learning environments from day one.
• Engage with tamariki and support their development and wellbeing.

What You Need

• NZQA endorsement (if applicable, for overseas qualifications) confirming Level 7 or higher
• Valid work eligibility in New Zealand
