Job summary

Synlait Milk Limited is seeking an experienced Regulatory Specialist to lead compliance across dairy portfolios, focusing on product composition, labelling, and export requirements. You will partner with Sales, Technical, Packaging, Export, Quality Programme Delivery and Procurement to support product innovation and growth.

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in the dairy industry and a strong understanding of the New Zealand regulatory framework.
Ability to interpret evolving standards and regulations across New Zealand and international markets.
Builds strong relationships across teams to deliver clear, practical regulatory advice.
Experience navigating export/import requirements and market access.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day regulatory advice on product composition, labelling, and market access requirements.
Lead regulatory support for new product development.
Navigate export/import requirements to support entry into new global markets.
Interpret and apply regulatory requirements for customers.
