Ward 4 is a 28-bed inpatient surgical ward at Whangarei Hospital. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to grow in surgical nursing within a supportive team and a community-focused environment.

About the Team/Service/Location

Ward 4 is a 28bed inpatient surgical ward in Whangarei Hospital, one of the main secondary hospitals serving Northland. It operates within Surgical Services, caring for adult patients requiring inpatient surgical management and recovery. We support both elective and acute admissions.

Ward 4 supports a mix of surgical specialties, such as colorectal, complex general surgery, complex urology and trauma providing you with variety and making each day different.
