• Monitor patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, and spinal surgery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and execute care.
• Recognise and respond to clinical changes and escalate as needed.

Ward 9 is a 34 bed Orthopaedic ward, caring for patients with a range of orthopaedic conditions and fragility fractures requiring joint replacement, spinal and reconstructive surgery. We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team. If you have a minimum of 2 years experience in an acute hospital setting, we would love to hear from you.

About you

• New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
• A minimum of 2 years post registration acute experience as Registered Nurse in New Zealand
• Recent experience working within a Surgical Ward
• A confident communicator and natural problem solver
• Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively
