Health New Zealand in Christchurch Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Day Unit, providing high-quality nursing care as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. The unit is fast-paced, focusing on infusion care with pre- and post-care support where needed.
Shifts are rostered Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30am, 8:30am, or 9:30am. Applicants must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold a current APC, and be able to work across public holidays.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Day Unit where you will be an integral part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team, and passionate about delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients. Shifts are rostered between Monday and Friday with start times of 7 : 30am, 8 : 30am and 9 : 30am.
The Medical Day Unit specialises in the care and support of medical patients referred from a variety of internal medicine specialities. These include Haematology, Gastroenterology, Immunology, Neurology, Rheumatology and Primary Care. While the unit is primarily now an infusion centre we also provide pre and post care for some of our patients who are having a small range of procedures. It is a fast-paced unit, so the ability to manage pressure is essential.
