Job summary

Employer Sponsored Jobs is seeking a permanent full-time Registered Nurse in the Waikato region to join a supportive clinical team. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to older adults, conduct assessments, develop care plans, and work within a multidisciplinary team.

NZRN registration with APC or eligibility is required. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, with ongoing professional development and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Current NZRN registration with a valid Annual Practising Certificate or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in aged care, medical, emergency, or palliative care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to resident-centred care and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor health and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
• Support residents’ wellbeing, dignity, independence and quality of life.
• Participate in rotating roster shifts and adhere to policies.

Requirements & Eligibility
