Busy Bees Hastings invites a passionate ECE educator and Team Leader to join our welcoming team. We are part of a national network that values whanaungatanga, cultural connection, and high‑quality early learning for every child.

You will draw on Te Whāriki to guide each child’s journey, document progress with families, and nurture an inclusive, safe classroom. NZ registration and residency or a valid NZ work visa are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ ECE or Primary teaching qualification with current NZ registration.
• Must have NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.
• Warm communication style and ability to build strong relationships.
• Proactive, ethical, and passionate about the NZ curriculum.
• Experience documenting learning using digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Draw on Te Whāriki to plan and guide the educational journey of each child.
• Celebrate learning by capturing high-quality assessments.
• Create a supportive, equitable atmosphere with belonging.
• Collaborate to build positive relationships across the team.
