Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is recruiting a Registered Anaesthetic Technician to join the Anaesthesia & Pain Medicine team. The role is full-time and permanent, with duties across sites and a 24/7 roster.

You'll work with POC devices (Rotem, Blood Gas, Haemacue, Blood Glucose, Ketone) and contribute to patient safety and quality care. The salary follows PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines and is aligned with Middlemore/Manukau sites in Auckland.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Experience with POC devices Rotem, Blood Gas, Haemacue, Blood Glucose and Ketone.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Work across all sites on a 24/7 roster.
• Tackle elective and acute workloads with diverse clinical challenges.
• Provide anaesthetic technician support within Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine.
