Ideal candidates are penultimate or final year IT/CS/SE students who want to grow their skills in a collaborative, supportive environment and who value flexible working arrangements and a friendly team culture.

Our work facilitates high-performance supply chains for the likes of Mainfreight, Qube and Allied Concrete and keeps millions of orders and data points flowing for Foodstuffs. At Sandfield we take on 7-9 interns a year, ideally, you will be in your penultimate or going into your last year of university studying for an Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering degree with the career aspirations to move into a software development role where you will be exposed to a wide range of technologies.

Our next active recruitment period for 2027 opportunities is between Jan to June 2026 for with internships starting in November 2026. We are also often looking for Graduates to join the team as well.

The majority of our interns that we have had in the past have moved into permanent positions within Sandfield once their degrees have finished.
