Qualifications

• Visual merchandising qualification is desirable.
• Experience in a merchandising role in a retail environment is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across the business.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture; knowledge of health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for visual presentation and layout of the Furniture departments in your portfolio of stores, in accordance with Harvey Norman standards by assisting stores to create visually appealing floor displays in a timely manner for promotions.
• Offer feedback to the National Visual Merchandiser on stock numbers and product combinations
• Provide weekly updates and ad-hoc reporting to the National Visual Merchandiser
• Form strong, productive working relationships with Furniture Proprietors in stores in your portfolio
• Regular travel is required to cover a regional portfolio of stores in the Bay of Plenty region and incorporating the Central North Island
