Job summary

Kirimana Consultants is seeking skilled Electricians to join our team on a range of exciting projects across Southland. We have multiple positions for reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individuals to work alongside our experienced tradesmen.

Responsibilities include fabricating and installing cable trays and supports, installing cables and equipment, and monitoring work to meet time, cost, and quality targets. A minimum of 2 years’ experience or a trade qualification is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience or a trade qualification in electrical installation.
• References to support work history are required.
• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture brackets based on engineering direction, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislation
• Fabricate and install cable trays and supports as needed
• Install cables in accordance with good electrical practices
• Install equipment following engineering best practice
• Work under supervisor guidance to meet time, cost, and quality requirements
• Monitor work progress and report delays or issues to the Leading Hand or Supervisor
• Perform other related tasks as reasonably required
