Job summary

Carters is seeking a Regional Health and Safety Advisor to support multiple sites across Waikato/BOP. You will be a go-to specialist, promote a proactive safety culture and drive SMS-compliant safety across branches and three manufacturing sites.

The role is based at one of our sites in Tauranga, Hamilton or Cambridge, reporting to the National Health & Safety Manager in Auckland, with responsibilities spanning the region.

Qualifications

• Multi-site EHS advisory experience.
• Sound H&S knowledge of NZ legislative requirements.
• Hands-on experience working within an accredited SMS framework.
• Highly motivated and organised work ethic with attention to detail.
• A clean driver’s licence and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and coordinating SMS activities across various branches.
• Driving compliance activities, improvement planning, investigations and corrective actions.
• Training and guidance in all things H&S, including acting as the specialist 'go-to' for Managers and team members.
• Helping to drive a positive and safe working culture across all sites.
