New Zealand Post Group in Hamilton is seeking a Regional Contract Specialist to join the Strategic Contracts & Relationships team. The role supports the wider Waikato region including Taumaranui, Tokoroa, Raglan and Hamilton, working with delivery partners and service teams to ensure value and service excellence.

The position involves managing commercial performance, contract obligations, and operational outcomes, combining commercial insight with relationship management to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and analytical decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Waikato region.

Responsabilités

• Building and maintaining trusted relationships with delivery partners across the region.
• Leading contract reviews, variations, negotiations and commercial discussions.
• Providing advice and support on contractual matters and partner performance.
• Partnering with operational teams to support service improvements and optimise outcomes.
• Managing contract compliance, disputes and non-compliance investigations where required.
• Using commercial and operational insights to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
