Receptionist Administrator - Outpatient Services
  • Salary between $67,943 - $72,495 per annum

About the Role

The Reception Administrator will help keep the Dunedin Hospital outpatient service running smoothly by staffing Outpatients reception desk and providing flexible administration support to adjacent clinics

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting arriving visitors to the clinic areas and ensuring they understand where they need to go
  • Enquiries via phone (including message banks), email and digital task lists are monitored, answered, forwarded and/or acted upon within expected timeframes.
  • Process patient arrivals promptly in the patient queue management system, prior to consultation.
  • Support patients to use self-check-in kiosks and associated technologies if needed
  • Load accurate referral details and descriptions in the patient administration system
  • Ensuring all scanning and filing is up to date
  • Other administrative tasks.

You’ll work closely with other administrators and clinical teams to facilitate efficient patient flow through effective communication, coordination and administrative support to outpatient clinical teams.
